Domain Name Transfer (Inbound & Outbound)
Domain Name Transfer (Inbound & Outbound)
Transferring your domain name to Netkora or moving it to another registrar is simple and secure. This guide explains all steps for both transferring into Netkora (inbound) and transferring out to another provider (outbound).
1. Domain Transfer – Bringing Your Domain to Netkora (Inbound)
By transferring your domain from another registrar to Netkora, you can manage all services in one panel and enjoy better renewal benefits.
Requirements for Transfer:
- The domain must be active (not suspended)
- At least 60 days must have passed since registration
- Registrar Lock must be disabled
- Transfer code (Auth/EPP Code) must be available
- If WHOIS privacy is enabled, it should be disabled
Transfer Steps:
- Obtain the transfer code (EPP/Auth Code) from your current registrar
- Login to your Netkora panel: netkora.tr/hesabim
- Select “Domain Transfer” from the menu
- Enter your domain and transfer code
- Pay the transfer fee (most extensions will add 1 year to your registration)
- Approve the email confirmation (if required by extension)
- The transfer is completed within 1-7 business days
Once completed, your domain’s period is extended and management is moved to Netkora. All DNS and forwarding operations can be managed from your panel.
Domain Transfer – Moving from Netkora to Another Provider (Outbound)
To transfer your domain to another provider, follow these steps.
What You Need To Do:
- Login to your Netkora customer panel
- Go to “My Domains” and select the domain
- Disable Registrar Lock
- Request your Transfer Code (Auth/EPP)
- Initiate the transfer process with the new provider
Make sure your WHOIS information is up to date and correct.
Email confirmations will be sent to the email address listed in the WHOIS record.
Important Notes:
- For .tr domains, the transfer process is subject to TRABIS regulations and may require different procedures
- Your domain remains active during transfer, and no downtime occurs
- If the transfer fails, you will be notified and the process will be cancelled
